Fire System Testing

You should have received a letter in the last couple days about this year’s fire system testing, which is scheduled for July 31 and August 14 (makeup date). We recognize that for many residents it is inconvenient to have someone available to support this during normal work hours, however there is no other feasible option.

And since you will be home for (or otherwise supporting) the fire panel testing, please consider taking advantage of the separate backflow testing service that will be available on the same day. If your home is more than one year old, or if you received a notice from the City about backflow valve testing, you will need to have this testing done anyway (see section 13.13.100 of Snoqualmie Municipal Code), so as long as your lives are being disrupted, we have tried to make good use of the opportunity.

A few items have been added to the FAQ page to cover some common questions about these topics.

Summer newsletter posted

The June/July newsletter is now available on the Newsletters page. It will also be mailed directly to you.

Bears spotted in the Ridgestone vicinity

Bears are being spotted within a block or two of Ridgestone in the last few days. Please be careful, and remember they are attracted to garbage and recycling left outside.
